We wanted to share one of our absolute favourite stories from a long-time pool owner in Rangiora New Zealand, sharing how their heated, self-cleaning Compass Pool transformed their backyard into a year-round hub for family, friends, and neighbours.

This pool is unique.   It is self cleaning, has salt water which regulates itself, has a heat pump to give me 2 extra months swimming and has a wee kiddies ledge which is life saving for toddlers. The year we had it installed we had an 18 month old crawl into it. He grabbed the side and could walk along the ledge to the steps.  We were watching him and ready to rescue him, but very impressed to see how the ledge really worked for young children. 

My 18 year old granddaughter had a pool party at the end of year 13. The 40 students said they didn't need to sit around drinking as they had the pool to keep them entertained. My family had a reunion with 40 relatives kept cool with them in and out of the pool. The neighbours come up to swim all summer and it keeps us all entertained and in a good relationship. My 16 year old granddaughter is planning her break up pool party. I enjoy racing one of my granddaughters 90 lengths to swim a kilometre.
